Kovind in Coimbatore, to go to Isha centre

President Ram Nath Kovind landed in the textile city on Sunday. Security in Coimbatore has been stepped up in view of his two-day visit.

The President’s engagements here include the presentation of colours to two units of the Indian Air Force and also to participate as chief guest for Maha Shivaratri celebrations organised by Isha Yoga Centre. While the former will be organised at the Air Force Station in Sulur here on Monday morning, the latter will be hosted at the Velliangiri foothills on the outskirts here from Monday evening to Tuesday early hours.
