Maharashtra’s staunch leader Narayan Rane is nowadays wandering here, there and everywhere in search of his political existence. And this wandering lead him to the doorsteps of veteran Maratha leader Sharad Pawar.
To find himself new political stop, Rane paid a visit to Pawar in the recent past at the latter’s Kankavli-situated home. It was a long meeting.
Although Rane may be terming it a goodwill visit, but political pundits are looking at it as a prep for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
The word in the political corridors is that the two are to hold a crucial meet again in January. It is whispered that Pawar has prepared Rane for the matter that in the coming Lok Sabha elections, Rane’s Maharashtra Swabhimani Paksha will join hands with Pawar’s NCP.
