These heartbreaking words were part of Doordarshan staffer Mormukut Sharma's message that he recorded while being attacked by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada.

Sharma's colleague -- cameraman Achyutananda Sahu -- died in that attack. As did two security personnel.

Moments after the Doordarshan crew came under attack Sharma, a lighting assistant with the state-run broadcaster, whipped out his phone and recorded a message for his mother.

In the video, Sharma is seen lying on the ground and is heard whispering into the camera. Sounds of gunshots are also heard in the background.
